2019 Heartland Call for Presentations

Topics include: Areas of alcohol and substance abuse prevention including coalition development, education and enforcement. You may submit multiple program proposals.
The submissions deadline is May 1st, 2019!

Our conference content committee will review and evaluate all program proposals to be presented at the conference. All presenters will receive complimentary registration to the conference
(up to two per breakout, any presenters over two must pay full registration price).
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: All breakout session presentations will be 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please review the following guidelines before submitting.

1. Title of Proposal

Limit the title to 12 words or less. The title of the program must be concise and descriptive; accurately describing the content of the proposal. Catchy phrases are encouraged.
2. Descriptive Abstract
-
The abstract should be a maximum of 2-3 paragraphs in length, and should include the basic content of the proposed session, the method of information delivery and the source of the information. This abstract may be printed in the conference program. Please note the abstracts may be edited for length at the discretion of the conference organizers.
3. Equipment
-
All session rooms are set theater style, and are equipped with a projection screen, projector and speakers. Presenters are encouraged to bring their own laptop and zip drive.
​4. Identify Primary Objectives (for CEU purposes)
5. List the Target Audience
-
Education, Law Enforcement, Prevention, Coalitions, etc.
6. Send Speaker Biographies in a Separate Word Document

List all presenters (limit two for complimentary registration).
